INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAM

This 18-week program is specifically designed to train Albertans to meet the dynamic job demands outlined by employers within the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. A work placement is granted to participants within the program, providing an opportunity to showcase skills in an ICT environment.

The ICT program gives participants the knowledge and experience to work with the following development tools:

  • Ruby on Rails

  • SQL

  • HTML

  • GIT/GITHub

  • JavaScript

Professional insurance agent training program

The Professional Insurance Agent (PIA) training program addresses the growing demand for insurance agents, brokers, and advisors in the Edmonton region.

Working in partnership with the Province of Alberta and the Government of Canada, this 14-week program will help you achieve Level 1 & Level 2 insurance licensing. With this licensing, you would be qualified to work in positions such as:

  • Insurance Broker

  • General Insurance Agent

  • Claims Examiner

  • And many more!

  • Underwriter

  • Claims Adjuster

  • Insurance Analyst

  • Risk Manager
